The child in Amitabh Bachchan might perhaps be all excited about his birthday celebrations.After all,one hears that superstar(who turns70 on October11),is in for a grand celebration thanks to the efforts to his wife Jaya Bachchan and designer friends Abu and Sandeep.With the invitations out and the preparations going full swing,here's what Big B in for...................
The big day will not be on his birthday but a day prior on October 10(which happens to be the day Rekha celebrates her birthday)to usher it in.The event will be back tie affair where the men from film,social and political fraternity will be dressed in tuxedos.The venue for the party is the Reliance Media works at Film City.A special red carpet will be rolled out for the celebration held across three floors of the Ambani Studio.Guest have been informed to leave their personal security at the main gate of the venue.Since the Buchanan's are sticklers for time, the invitees have been requested to be there at 8.30 p.m.Sharp as the program involves performers and it wouldn't be nice to walk in while the performance is going on.
At 9.30p.m A special dance will be performed by the Indian contemporary ballet presented by the Bangalore base Nritarutya dance trust.This special dance is based on excerpts of Harivanshrai Bachchan's famous works recited by Big B him self.This will be followed by the unveiling of the commemorative book for which several artistes have painted sketched impressions of Mr. Bachchan. This will take place at 10.30p.m
And finally, at 11.00p.m dinner will be served and the dance floor will be thrown open P.S guests were asked their preference for vegetarian and non-vegetarian food back then, when the invitations were sent.
