Carmelo is the latest contestant to get knocked out of the X Factor competition, after finding himself in the bottom two last night.
In a surprise twist, Fourtunate found themselves in the bottom two with Carmelo, showing that people really aren’t voting for their favourites.
Both acts were forced to sing for their lives. Carmelo showed off his awesome voice with a rendition of Feeling Good, while Fourtunate demonstrated their amazing stage presence and moves with a performance of Usher’s Without You.
It came down to the judges, and while Mel voted to save Carmelo, Nat, Ronan and Guy all decided it was time for Carmelo to leave. That means Fourtunate have another chance, and they better blow us out of the water next week!
The contestants also sang a medley of songs with Jessica Mauboy, plus Labrinth and Birdy performed live.
