Since winter is coming, the Duchess of Cambridge swaps her flowy dresses to coats, stockings and boots.

When it comes to winter fashion, Kate Middleton definitely has some say in the department. From coats to boots, to colors and textures; the Duchess of Cambridge definitely knows what to pick for the cold, chilly weather.

After her Southeast Asian tour with the Duke of Cambridge, Kate Middleton made a stunning comeback in the fashion department with a fall outfit. Despite the photo scandal and the gloomy weather, Kate certain looked like she was in her fashion forte when she attended the opening of a new sports facility at St. George's Park together with William.

Following her signature winter style, the Duchess of Cambridge wore a dark olive green coat, paired it with black tights and knee high boots. In another outfit, Kate looked perfect in autumn in a matching burgundy flared skirt and jacket. The Duchess' clothes were from high street designers Reiss and Paule Ka.

Yesterday, the Duchess stunned in a black floral Alice Temperley Esmeralda hotel. Together with some other royalties and Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip as hosts, they met with the British team for the 2012 Olympics and Paralympics.

The event happened in Buckingham Palace as a salute and "thank you" to all the athletes who have successfully participated in the prestigious sports event. Kate Middleton was seen roaming and chatting guests who looked equally delighted to meet the Duchess.
